Preparatory course for those who have completed only 11th grade of secondary education system The Asian Students Cultural Association (ASCA Japanese Language Institute : Preparatory Course 2 for University Entrance), received official designation as a Preparatory Course for University Entrance from the Ministry of Education, Japan. This means that, beginning in April 2000, students from countries with education systems under which secondary schooling is completed in the 11th grade (such as Form-5 in Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong and other countries), will be considered to have 12 years of schooling if they complete the Preparatory Course 2 for University Entrance at our Institute, making them eligible to apply for entrance to Japanese universities. This has opened the way for study in Japan to those who have thus far been unable to enter Japanese universities due to the 12-year schooling requirement. We sincerely hope that many students will enter ASCA Japanese Language Institute as the first step to realizing their dreams of studying in Japan.
