Beginner CourseThis level is designed for students without any knowledge of the Japanese Language. In Beginner Level, students will learn how to read and write hiragana and katakana. They will also learn easy daily conversation and listening. Students who complete Beginner Course are able to use basic elemental grammars, 100 words of Kanji and 800 vocabularies. In Fundamental Course, students will learn more in listening and conversation skills in order to pass the JLPT Level 3 or N5. Students who can write hiragana and katakana, have the basic listening, conversation, reading and writing skills are welcome to join the fundamental course also but have to take a test first. Students who complete Fundamental Course are able to use basic grammars, 300 words of Kanji, 1500 vocabularies.

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) has taken shape over 26 years of history and achievement, and strikes out in a fresh direction as the “New Japanese-Language Proficiency Test” beginning in 2010. The old version was seperated into Level 1, 2, 3, 4. The new version is changed to Level N1, N2, N3, N4, N5. To get into the private universities in Japan, at least we have to pass the Level N2. To get into the government universities, we need the Level N1. The explanation of every level of Japanese is as below. |
